MB - transfer case rear output shaft seal removal

Using alignment holes in tool to dimple old seal rim face

Using punch to put screw starter holes in seal rim face

Using phillips sd - install four screws #6x1" in seal

Install 2"x 1/2"dia bolt

Carefully tighten bolt against shaft and the tool gradually pulls seal

The seal is almost out

Remove screws from seal

Use tool to install new seal

A  spacer  is used to set seal to proper depth a follow up tap with soft hammer to seat seal

Remove the seating spacer

The new seal is in and aligned
